Employee Development Manager

Location: Dallas, TX

We're searching for an innovative, collaborative, and motivated Employee Development Manager who will have the opportunity to help facilitate Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service's training and development program. This position will analyze training needs, create, and update curriculum for both classroom and non-classroom learning programs, deliver training programs in a variety of mediums, formulate standardized training programs and development plans, and ensure effective and optimized for new and existing employees. The Training / Program Development Manager will also manage the day-to-day functionality of training ensuring quality training is being delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal Subject Matter Experts to develop and implement standard operating procedures for boiler services.
  • Lead the efforts and process to gather and create Mechanical & Technical Boiler Training
  • Shadow field employees for training development & understanding of job task.
  • Track all training from creation to implementation including sending reminders for training about to requiring review or about to expire.
  • Design and develop learning materials for Supervisor & Management leadership curriculum.
  • Creating, executing, and evaluating learning initiatives across a multitude of topics
  • Ensure new hires and existing employees are properly trained.
  • Lead employee development training for operations
  • Partner with internal Subject Matter Experts to develop training content for both in-person and eLearning training.
  • Work closely with managers in conducting training needs analysis for developing new training programs and modifying and improving existing programs.
  • Design, develop and deliver training sessions for new employees to be successful in their roles.
  • Deliver practical training sessions including new hire, follow up, and reinforcement training.
  • Support in the development and delivery of compliance and operational training throughout the year
  • Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical and development training for employees.
  • Design and develop learning materials including training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials for training curriculum.
  • Provide in-person and remote training to employees.
  • Develop testing, evaluation, and measurement procedures of the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge of adult learning styles, principles, and needs assessment
  • Knowledge of teaching and training principles, practices, and procedures including individuals, groups, face-to-face, and distance learning
  • Knowledge of SOP development, tracking and implementation
  • Adept at getting and maintaining attention/involvement of classroom training as well as remote training
  • Skill in assessing training needs through surveys, interviews, and focus groups
  • Knowledge of building and delivering effective eLearning content through an LMS for LMS users
  • Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Exercise good judgment and strong character, motivated, hard-working
