Employee Engagement and Marketing Coordinator

Department: Human Resources Job Status: Full-Time Reports to: Human Resources Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Employee Engagement and Marketing Coordinator will help our employees thrive by creating and coordinating experiences that instill our Carter culture and core values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to lead and execute projects and events, define goals, set milestones, and follow through on deliverables.
• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working and community relationships and a positive work environment.
• Create content and design for print and digital collaterals, such as letters, emails, newsletters, and direct mailers.
• Monitors and adheres to all budgets related to events.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in Marketing or Development.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook email required. Knowledge of Adobe or other editing software is a plus. Must have the ability to learn new programs as necessary.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Solid work history and willingness to successfully function in a team environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

A large percentage of travel time is expected for the position, where the travel occurs locally between three (3) locations within a 13-mile radius. The position will also be required to travel for networking events both locally and occasionally statewide.

The physical demands of this role require walking and standing for long periods of time. Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds will also apply.
