Within Global Corporate Affairs at Moody's, the Communications teams are responsible for inspiring and enabling meaningful connections among their stakeholders. The Employee Communications & Executive Visibility team engages employees globally through storytelling experiences to strengthen Moody's culture and brand perception.

Role/Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual who thrives on leading and creating unique event experiences that have an impact. You will be joining a new function and therefore will have a chance to help define our employee event experience standard, which will include a framework with processes and policies to help mitigate risk. As the function matures, we want your impact to grow through your ability to manage people and programs. Key responsibilities include:• Plan, manage and execute end-to-end enterprise employee events that are aligned with our company's strategic priorities and in response to employee feedback. We're focused on creating meaningful opportunities to foster connections among our colleagues, strengthen our culture and drive business outcomes through in-person, virtual and hybrid experiences.• Translate broad corporate strategies into event experiences with defined objectives, engaging content and measurable outcomes.• Contribute to the creation of a scalable framework that sets a high standard for employee event experiences - this will include developing processes and protocols to help ensure we execute our work effectively and efficiently.• Some travel may be required.

Setting our foundation for operational excellence• Ensure event experiences consistently express our brand and employee value proposition.• Maintain effective partnerships with third-party event management vendors to provide optimal support for employee events.• Manage reporting processes, using data to inform ongoing recommendations.• Own and drive accurate budget planning and forecasting for events, as well as timely processing of event-related invoices.• Partner with stakeholders to evaluate and track employee event outcomes and impact, enhancing and optimizing our experiences over time.• Assess industry trends continuously, looking for opportunities to enhance our event experiences.

Relationship management• Develop and maintain relationships at all levels across the company.• Provide advice and counsel to business partners around company-wide employee events.• Share and uphold our communications standards and processes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with hands-on experience in a corporate environment with a proven track record and expert-level knowledge of event strategy, systems, and execution. They will have a bachelor's degree with approximately 5-7 years of event experience - across in-person, virtual and hybrid.

Other qualifications include:• Expertise developing, leading, and executing a range of events within a multi-national corporation using a variety of methods.• Stellar leadership skills and strong executive presence, complementing outstanding communication skills along with an ability to manage stakeholder expectations, as well as build lasting rapport through interpersonal and relationship-building skills.• Strong appreciation for storytelling, including how it contributes to employee engagement.• Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to develop original event experiences and programs with minimal guidance, coupled with appreciation for scalable processes to ensure efficient execution.• Exceptional writing and editing ability, as well as high attention to detail.• Ability to prioritize and navigate a variety of activities in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed environment coupled with strong organizational skills to lead multiple projects simultaneously.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,500, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
