Job Description

To strengthen our HR Workforce Operations team, we are currently looking for an ambitious Employee Experience and payroll representative with a direct reporting line to our Global Workforce Operations (GWO) Manager - Southern and Western Europe.

You will be based in Turnhout, but will provide (virtual) support services to several sites, Turnhout and Soignies, including but not limited to all Belgian sites (and other countries in South and West).

These services will be provided using our cloud-based case management solution.

With a keen interest in all aspects of "Human Resources" as well as "HR Operations", your versatile area of ​​responsibility primarily includes the following topics in our South Western Europe region:

• HR support service in our European operations to further develop our internal HR and payroll service delivery model (ServiceNow) and create first-class service for our employees and stakeholders in a sustainable and innovative way
• Creation of relevant documents and reports in HR processing (contracts, contract amendments, hearings, certificates and certificates, etc.)
• Opportunities to support projects cross-functional in international teams (international or global continuous improvement projects)
• In your daily work, together with our Belgium GWO team, you will be responsible for the preparation, creation and execution of the monthly payroll using SD worx for approximately 800 employees in Belgium (and will support our teams in the other countries of the region.)
• Correspondence with institutions such as financial institutions / tax authorities, social insurance funds, health insurance funds or pension insurance funds are just as much part of your daily tasks as a key user of SD worx as advice on all invoicing-related topics (payroll accounting, time recording, company pension plans, etc.). 

Qualifications

You have the following profile:

Business or social science studies, preferably in the field of human resources, work organization, business administration or a comparable education with other qualifications

In addition, you have: 

• professional experience in human resources - ideally in an international (matrix) organization
• practical knowledge in the implementation of topics such as personnel administration, recruitment and legal issues
• creativity and enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship to build lasting projects and start your career at Avery Dennison
• work experience in payroll accounting, corporate pensions and time management (Sdworx / Protime T&A) , ideally in the context of a manufacturing company or an HR shared service center
• current knowledge in the fields of payroll tax, labor law and social security for Belgium
• strong communication skills in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
