Maven is looking for a Employee Experience Associate to join the People team! As you will be the first person many employees and guests meet at the office, you set the tone for the overall office experience. In this role you will be the point of contact for office operations and facilities, reception, and internal events. You'll also be a key player in building and improving employee experience in our hybrid work model.
The Employee Experience Associate role is a full-time and office-based position (Monday-Friday).
As our Employee Experience Associate at Maven, you will:
- Office Management
- Oversee day-to-day office operations (general facilities, repairs, maintenance) and ensure the office is tidy, safe, and productiv e
- Manage all office ordering and stocking (catering, snacks, office supplies) and create an organized storage system
- Conduct site walks of entire office daily and look for areas to make improvements
- Be the point of contact for all vendors providing site services (building management, cleaning staff, building engineers, food/ beverage)
- Hybrid Work & Internal Events
- Independently plan and execute small to medium size internal company events and programs that support the full employee population in a hybrid model (virtual, hybrid, in-person)
- Reception
- Cover reception as needed, greeting visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide building access for visitors and Mavens
- Receive and sort mail, packages, and other deliveries
- Answer questions and manage employee and guest requests
- Miscellaneous
- Proactively identify areas to improve the overall employee experience and support special projects as needed
We're looking for you to bring:

- Positive attitude and passion for building and managing an exceptional employee experience within the physical and virtual workplace
- Ability to creatively problem solve as issues arrive
- Strong customer service mindset
- Team player who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done
Helpful experiences and skills (if you don't have them, you can learn them with us!):
- Proficient in Google Suite (calendar, drive, slides, sheets)
- Facilities or office management experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment
- Experience supporting both office-based and remote teammates
This is a full-time, non-exempt role that requires an in-person presence at our headquarters in NYC. For candidates in NY, CA, or CO, the salary range for this role is $28.85 - 36.06 per hour. You may also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
