Employee Relations Coordinator
Job Description
SUMMARY: Supports the Employee Relations Manager and Employee Relations Generalist with the day-to-day work, information, paper work/documents/forms. Responsible for handling a variety of Human Resources related administrative tasks, coordination of work may be with internal or external clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Maintains strict confidence with employment and employee related information.
- Provides support for a wide variety of human resources initiatives.
- Creates spreadsheets and reports utilizing data provided by the Employee Relations Manager and Employee Relations Generalist.
- Suggests and develops processes for streamlining and enhancing department workflow.
- Coordinates ordering and distribution and monitoring of federal and state regulatory posters.
- Provides information and documentation to Unemployment Services for unemployment claims and Counsel for subpoenas.
- Coordinate unemployment pre-hearing conferences and provide documentation to managers.
- Processes terminations in a timely manner.
- Completes applicable termination checklist.
- Upload documents into the Nautilus and ADP systems and appropriate
- Schedules Exit Interview meetings/discussions with employees voluntarily resigning from assigned areas and provides subsequent feedback and recommendations to the Employee Relations Manager as appropriate.
- Keeps abreast of employment law and current legislation in relation to Human Resources employment laws.
- Reviews and edits Corrective Action documentation for non-exempt branch employees.
- Provides guidance to employees and managers on Human Resources policies, guidelines and processes.
- Participates in the execution of strategic Employee Relations department and Human Resources division projects.
- Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
- Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
- Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
EDUCATION
HS Diploma required
EXPERIENCE
- Banking experience in a fast paced banking environment required
- Retail Branch experience is preferred
- Human Resources experience or equivalent education preferred
