Under general supervision, this position is responsible for first line in HR Support for employees and manager inquiries within the Employee Service team. Answers inbound employee inquiries about HR topics and owns the resolution of inquiries in real time. Identifies opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve employee experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
  • Owns and resolves employment questions for various stages of the employment life cycle.
  • Assists in the processing of employee transactions into WorkDay to resolve issues in real time.
  • Support employees and leaders in trouble shooting related to HR processes.
  • Provides information about various human resource areas and directs employees to the appropriate resources/guidelines to resolve HR related questions.
  • Maintain data integrity, flagging and resolving inconsistencies when appropriate.
  • Assists with creation and updates of job aids.

May perform additional duties as assigned.
Reporting Relationship
  • Typically Director or above

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Solid interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite and knowledge HR Systems (ServiceNow, WorkDay, Cornerstones) and data reporting technologies.
  • Good organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills including professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Collaborate across HR Functions.
  • Ability to work in a fast changing environment

Education and Experience
  • Associates degree or equivalent.
  • Typically a minimum of one year of experience, preferably in Human Resources, Operations or Call Center roles.
  • Experience in a customer service environment preferred
