Job Description
Job Summary
Organize, conduct, and evaluate internal training for new and existing employees. Select and/or develop materials and appropriate delivery methods (e.g., instructor led, web demos, video conferences, workshops) for programs on a variety of topics (e.g., new employee orientation, job skills training, continuous education, leadership training, performance appraisals). Work with department leadership to assess training needs, select appropriate training programs and delivery methods, and monitor training programs to ensure they are current and effective. May schedule classes, set up systems and equipment, and coordinate enrollment.
Expected Duties:
· The Employee Training and Development Partner will organize and conduct training sessions to ensure professional development
· Expected to assist in the coordination of the use of externally developed training programs and aid in developing assessment tools to determine effectiveness of proposed training programs
· Responsible for preparing lesson plans including the method, media, and documentation to be presented
· The Employee Training and Development Partner will track and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make updates as necessary
· The role will act as a communication liaison between HR L&D and internal departments to address developmental needs and employee abilities
· Expected to establish and maintain influential relationships by being a strategic partner with management and an advocate for employees
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· A level 2 professional will be able to perform simple to moderately difficult/moderately impactful aspects of the role independently. The role will support seasoned peers and management on difficult to complex aspects of the position.
· Career-development professional within the subject area
· Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in the subject area
· Ability to conduct work assignments of increasing complexity under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment
· Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience
· Teamwork attitude, flexibility, and ability to manage different responsibilities/priorities at the same time
