This position provides administrative support to the Employer Services and Executive Health teams. The Employer Services Manager must demonstrate resourcefulness, possess a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills while applying a detailed knowledge of the program's functions. Primary job functions of this role will include the timely and accurate billing/collections of revenue from Employer services contracts. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, or Invoicing.

This is a full-time salary position based out of the Banner Phoenix Corporate office

POSITION SUMMARY

This position works closely with Revenue Cycle leadership for each of the Banner business entities, including those that are joint ventures, with an aim to proactively identify and capture invoices for select individuals identified by an employer through a BES or Exec Health contract. This includes accurately consolidating bills from multiple revenue cycle organizations, delivering a single bill to an employer in a timely manner, ensuring third party care companies are paid and that the internal accounting for the revenue is clean for each business line involved in providing care.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Performs integrated work with the leadership teams supporting professional sports contracts and executive health, identifying patients and services rendered throughout the system.

2. Acts as the direct connection for all invoicing for any employer contract related to professional sporting teams (Banner Employer Services) and Executive Health. Maintains appropriate communication between these employers and the appropriate leads within the Banner businesses lines. Supports the individual business lines in accurately tracking Banner Health or JV services provided to select patients involved through a professional sporting team or Exec Health contract.

3. Works with the appropriate Revenue Cycle team to ensure services are registered under the correct payer, and invoices for select services are prevented from being sent to selected patients identified through a professional sporting team (BES) and executive health contract. This will require a focus on detail and diligence to ensure registration and invoicing are correct to a high degree of accuracy.

4. Partners with Revenue Cycle to develop and deploy processes to ensure claims are consolidated prior to being submitted to payers. Works with the appropriate Revenue Cycle and BES/Executive Health finance teams to consolidate accurate patient billing and direct invoices to the appropriate payer as identified through an established BES or Exec Health contract. Manages unique combinations of package and a la carte offerings without error as these may vary by employers and/or between executives within a single employer.

5. Partners with Finance to invoice, bill, and ensure collection of all receipts of monies from employer organizations. Ensures all required accounting to providing organizations is completed. Confirms all third-party organizations providing services are paid accurately and in a timely manner. Verifies clean reporting for employers regarding Executive Physical completion and billing status.

6. Schedules all component elements of the Executive Physical Appointment to include ensuring that the exception process for Executive Physical is communicated and abided by in all impacted clinics prior to the patient presenting for their exams. Distinguishes between package or a la carte items paid for by the employer vs potential patient requested add-ons.

7. Interacts with Exec Health Patients, Employer Company HR and internal Banner partners to resolve billing questions and issues related to the executive physical in a highly professional and graceful manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a strong knowledge of Finance, Accounting or similar areas as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Administration or related field.

Must have 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Invoicing and/or related field.

Must possess meticulous attention to details, strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of revenue cycle processes.
