We are looking for an Emprise Embedded Product Manager to join our Innovation and Strategy team. The Emprise Embedded Product Manager is responsible for overseeing various aspects of product management including product design, testing, and first line oversight for Embedded partner programs. This role involves working closely with a variety of key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful development and maintenance of credit models, as well as managing product design, testing, and change management. The Emprise Embedded Product Manager plays a vital role in supporting accurate underwriting, decisioning and product compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

This position is eligible for a Hybrid schedule in Wichita, KS and surrounding areas. Remote in South Dakota, Utah, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Nebraska.

Essential functions of the role:

Product Design Oversight:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and refine bank product and service specifications
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to develop and maintain bank standards and partner guidelines for credit products
  • Collaborate with partners/clients on development of credit products and features
  • Address legal, tax, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Evaluate pricing, risk assessment, and performance metrics
  • Conduct testing to support systems and program requirements against product standards

Product Feature/Functionality Change Management:

  • Plan, design, and implement changes to product features and functionalities in collaboration with key stakeholders and partners/clients
  • Ensure that changes are executed efficiently and are compliant with relevant regulations and bank guidelines

Product Guidelines and Roadmaps:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop robust product guidelines and prioritized roadmaps for Emprise Embedded products and add-on features to support partner growth
  • Define Embedded product hierarchy and KPI reporting

Credit Product Testing Oversight:

  • Conduct internal testing or oversee partner/client testing to assess the accuracy and compliance of underwriting and decisioning outcomes
  • Evaluate exception handling practices to ensure efficient credit processes

Fees Testing Oversight:

  • Develop and conduct internal testing capabilities or oversee partner/client testing to assess the accuracy and compliance of fee application against established bank standards
  • Evaluate exception handling practices related to fees and charges

Collections and Recovery Oversight:

  • Supervise partner/client activities associated with managing defaulted accounts to maximize chances of recovery for outstanding balances
  • Collaborate with partners/clients to develop and implement strategies for effective collections and recovery processes in accordance to bank standards

Third Party Models:

  • Oversee the adherence to and performance of established credit models used for credit scoring, underwriting, and decisioning flows
  • Support credit analysis and insights derived from individual and corporate credit assessments
  • Collaborate with credit risk and data science teams to provide ongoing refinement of credit models to optimize performance

Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in credit operations, risk management, and financial services. Strong preference for experience in Banking as a Service delivery models.
  • Strong knowledge of credit modeling, underwriting, and decisioning processes.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance requirements across lending and deposit products.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners/clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience with credit product testing and change management.
