Emulation Engineer

We are looking for talented, motivated candidates with experience building comprehensive HW emulation frameworks and executing emulation test plans for large-scale networking and computing chips, and who are looking to grow in a fast paced, dynamic startup environment. 

Default location is Mountain View, CA, but we are equally open to remote candidates.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and deploy emulation-based prototyping platforms for complex chip designs.

• Collaborate with architecture, design, and verification teams to resolve dependencies and to drive testplan execution.

• Coordinate with software and firmware teams to enable co-emulation and software validation.

• Maintain regressions and work with vendors to alleviate design synthesis and mapping issues.

Key Qualifications

• BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

• 2+ years of experience with a HW emulation platform (Palladium preferred).

• Fluency in SystemVerilog or an equivalent hardware description language.

• Familiarity with embedded-C and microcontroller programming.

• Experience with high-speed IO protocols like PCIe and/or networking protocols like Ethernet is highly desired.
