Product Solution Owner, Medicare Surround

The candidate for this position will be responsible Cigna Medicare Surround and Medicare COB products, ensuring that assigned Products are managed ensuring plans are compliant and client and customer capabilities are at or above competitive parity. Success will be achieved through strong, proactive partnerships with areas such as Marketing, Business Operations, Segment/Sales Leaders, Compliance, and Actuary.

• Creates and supports product development strategies to drive/retain membership growth

• Fully understands plan sponsor and customer needs, external environmental influences, and competitive offerings and provides key input to product strategies

• Partners with and independently navigates matrix partners/organizations such as Finance, Marketing, Business Operations, Segment/Sales Leaders, Compliance, Product and Business Operations to identify new product and/or enhancements that will result in increased/retained membership. 

• Provides product direction throughout product lifecycle

• Can manage complex business issues

• Drives resolution of issues, escalating when appropriate

Knowledge/Skills and Abilities

• Medicare Knowledge required

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required

• Strategic and creative thinker with ability to think outside the box and translate strategies and customer insights into actions/requirements/implementation

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Good project management skills with a strong understanding of business processes and operations

• Proven ability to tie together complex issues and implement solutions to meet the needs of the global matrix

• Team player with proven ability to foster and manage working relationships within a matrix environment

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and excellent time management skills

• Strong collaboration and verbal and written communication skills
