EndPoint and Applications Engineer (Mid-Senior Level)

ERM is seeking an EndPoint and Applications Engineer to join our support team in Mexico City, Mexico.

Description:

The EndPoint and Applications Engineer will focus on supporting Microsoft Intune infrastructure, software deployment technologies, and application systems across the enterprise. This role will also involve packaging applications and creating PowerShell scripts.
The engineer will work closely with the IT security operations team to ensure all vulnerabilities are resolved in a timely manner.

Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for supporting iOS devices in Intune and providing limited support to Mac OS devices enrolled in JAMF.

This role will align with business requirements, collaborating with IT Operations to deliver and assist in the development of future projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise in Microsoft Intune, software deployment, endpoint security, and application administration.

• Package Intune applications and create Powershell scripts.

• Provide support for iOS devices enrolled in Intune.

• Maintain bespoke business applications across data centers and endpoints.

• Roll out an monitor OS patches using WufB or Autopatch in Intune

• Deploy and monitor the deployment of third party patching, using Patch My PC

• Identify and flag risks and issues that may compromise endpoint, application support, and IT projects.

• Monitor, maintain, and report on all data and hardware.

• Offer technical support for Windows Server, Microsoft Intune, and systems affecting business applications.

• Provide limited support to MacOS Devices enrolled in JAMF.

• Assist in implementing IT projects globally, collaborating with colleagues in other functions.

• Communicate effectively within the team and with upper management.

• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance efficiency in all areas of the work stream.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of five years in a similar technical role.

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Intune

• Excellent communication skills.

• Flexible and adaptable approach.

• Strong team player.

• Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate a global environment and occasional travel.

• Comfortable working in ambiguity.

• Experience working in a global company with region-specific solutions.

• Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as needed.

• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.
