Summary:

To educate customers on how they can save energy and reduce their utility bills. To develop your role by continuously growing, learning how to be a customer service guru, and help us become a more successful company.

Job Type:

• Full-time, Commission Only

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Skillfully introduce Staples Energy and explain the FREE energy savings program to the customer
• Perform an energy assessment of a customer’s home or business according to the program guidelines
• Identify and record opportunities for saving energy and review them with the customer
• Explain the enrollment process and collect all necessary documents
• Sell the customer on the benefits of energy efficiency upgrades
• Discuss the installation process and any special accommodations the customer may need

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
• Moderate to Advance computer literacy.
• Write and record appointments.
• Attend sales training and team meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or GED certificate.
• Previous experience with customer service, sales, or other related fields preferred, but not required.

Working Conditions

• Possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record and a reliable vehicle.
• Pass background and drug screen.
• Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Drive and sit in a vehicle for extended periods.
