Job Summary
Digital Self Service team is seeking an Ops Engineer to join our operations team. This team of highly passionate Operations engineers is responsible for supporting Multi-Cloud applications team with a high degree of stability, reliability and security that exceeds customer and stakeholder expectations.
In this role you will collaborate internally, and with other teams, developers, architects and product owners to develop and maintain platforms for Public Cloud and on-prem environments and build monitoring around it. You are a strong teammate, and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer requirements. Job duties include a balance between development and fast-paced critical thinking, communication, troubleshooting and problem solving.

Key Technologies:
- Experience with monitoring systems such as Elastic Search, Kibana, Splunk, Grafana
Core Responsibilities
- Perform monitoring and detection activities with a minimum supervision
- Leads technical outage bridges and engages appropriate resources to drive issues to closure.
- Acts as an advocate for Engineering Operations procedures, policies and processes.
- Assist with the development, monitoring, tracking, and analysis application performance metrics.
- Develops infrastructure update process for existing infra and assists in the roll-out of releases.
- Keeps current with technological developments within the industry.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with 3+ years professional experience.
- Experience monitoring high traffic applications.
- Software development experience with an interest in using that experience to solve distributed systems problems a plus.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills, ability to convey ideas clearly and get along with people throughout the organization.
