- Establish clear processes, procedures, and technology implementation to drive the delivery of outstanding results
- Engage with product engineering during the design cycle to ensure the design for manufacturability and tooling to ensure efficient and capable production methods and processes.
- Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaboration and cohesion
- Achieve product profitability goals by completing projects within required time constraints while meeting all quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Perform time studies, line balancing, and implement process improvements
- Recommend methods for improving operators' effectiveness in safety, quality, and productivity
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaboration and cohesion
- Education and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver to schedule
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Results-oriented teammate with proven self-motivation skills
- Experience using continuous improvement methodologies
- Basic computer proficiency with email and Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and other systems as required
- BS in Manufacturing Engineering or related degree.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
