• Establish clear processes, procedures, and technology implementation to drive the delivery of outstanding results
• Engage with product engineering during the design cycle to ensure the design for manufacturability and tooling to ensure efficient and capable production methods and processes.
• Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaboration and cohesion
• Achieve product profitability goals by completing projects within required time constraints while meeting all quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Perform time studies, line balancing, and implement process improvements
• Recommend methods for improving operators' effectiveness in safety, quality, and productivity
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaboration and cohesion
• Education and Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to deliver to schedule
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Results-oriented teammate with proven self-motivation skills
• Experience using continuous improvement methodologies
• Basic computer proficiency with email and Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and other systems as required
• BS in Manufacturing Engineering or related degree.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
