Manages the daily operations support and maintenance of the data center and WAN networks for the company. Establishes corporate standards, develops and implements network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement

Acting independently under consultation direction, monitors and maintains, hardware and core infrastructure. Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network performance. Provides network systems in support of systems and application development projects. Assigned to on-call support rotation to troubleshoot network issues. Maintains and troubleshooting network systems software, hardware and core infrastructure (servers, switches, network devices, etc) utilizing software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose problems and factors affecting network performance. Participates in network planning, network architecture and engineering. Works on one or more projects as a team member Establishes protocol compatibility standards, develops and implements network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement. Decomposes tasks, defines milestones, creates schedules and estimates and monitors technical resources for projects. Contributes to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of his/her immediate supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience. Master's degree in related systems or business field preferred or equivalent experience Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is preferred Minimum of 3-5 years relevant network operations and engineering experience Knowledge of related industry specifications and standards, dynamic routing protocols, data center switching infrastructure, network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology Knowledge of Software Defined Networking, WAN optimization and IP load balancers is desired Ability to work in a team environment 24X7 Network Operations environment Occasional travel is required Normal Office Working Conditions
