Job Title: Engagement Finance Operations Senior Analyst, Data & Projects

Slalom is searching for an Engagement Finance Operations - EMO Sr. Analyst, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Financial Operations - EMO Data & Projects; location is open to all Slalom Markets. The Engagement Management Office (EMO), a team within the Accounting and Finance Department - Financial Operations, is headquartered in Seattle, WA USA. This team plays a critical role in the Sales to Cash Cycle and is primarily responsible for the review, set-up, maintenance and invoicing and collections of all of Slalom office's contracted engagements world-wide and coordinates many support needs with other Global Teams.

The EMO Sr. Analyst will work closely with Accounting, Finance, Technology, Legal, Tax, Business Operations, Sales Operations and other support teams. This role will work at the direction of the Sr. Manager to create reports, analyze trends, and communicate out findings to the appropriate audiences as well as work on prioritized projects related to the FinOps EMO services. As with all EMO team members, this role will live our Slalom Core Values and provide excellent customer service with both internal Slalom teams and external Clients.

What You'll Do:

Engagement Data Management

• Adapt system data from many different source systems using Power Queries, Power BI, SQL, etc. and present in a way that tells a meaningful and actionable story
• Communicate and document how changes to engagement data will impact other internal and external team's processes
• Improve and/or create and monitor the team's compliance with internal SLAs, quality standards, and key performance indicators
• Responsible for complex/gray data inquires and how to marry that to the existing system/processes
• Adaptive to new systems and processes

EMO Project Support

• Assist in the prioritization of the EMO project queue, schedule EMO Leadership meetings and take detailed notes/action items
• Collaborate with internal teams/stakeholders to gather requirements and interpret for multiple technical teams so they may write clear user stories
• Support and participate in the adoption of new Global FinOps processes, procedures, and initiatives
• Communicate, educate, and enforce standard processes with internal Slalom engagement teams while maintaining effective working relationships
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Service minded with experience deciphering ambiguous requests and taking ownership

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of working experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• Fluent in English for reading, writing and verbal
• Experienced in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; Power BI, Power Queries and SQL; bonus if knowledgeable in Salesforce, Oracle and/or Changepoint
• Working knowledge of finance operations and the business processes; bonus if prior history is in consulting/service industry
