As we continue to expand our portfolio of projects, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Engagement Manager to oversee the successful execution of multiple concurrent initiatives.
Position Overview
The Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and managing complex technology projects for our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, exceptional project management capabilities, and a deep understanding of the tech consulting landscape. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing stakeholder relationships, driving project delivery, and ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent technology projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related communications and escalations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues proactively, develop mitigation strategies, and oversee the resolution of issues to minimize project disruptions.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate with resource managers to allocate project resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of talent and skills across projects.
- Delivery Excellence: Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for project delivery, conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance.
- Budget and Financial Management: Monitor project budgets and financial performance, tracking expenses, revenue, and margin to ensure projects are delivered within agreed-upon financial targets.
- Change Management: Facilitate change management processes to manage scope changes, assess impacts, and obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders, providing insights into project progress, risks, and issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Who You Are
- Obsessed with delighting your clients through successful delivery, exceeding expectations, and fostering personal relationships.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in program or project management roles within the technology consulting or IT services industry, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, executives, and team members at all levels.
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and drive results.
