Minimum qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience consulting in a technology related field or working in the digital advertising industry
  • Experience with technical project management
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders


Preferred qualifications:
  • Ability to use the industry's language and understand the business and technical constraints
  • Ability to adapt your message to both technical and business audiences
  • Ability to build close working relationships and networks with key leaders
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and scale effectively across a large organization and highly distributed team
  • Ability to develop internal and external stakeholder networks, navigating Google and client-side to build relationships necessary to deliver against plans and projects

gTech Professional Services takes an entrepreneurial, customer-centric, collaborative, and inclusive approach to finding cross-product solutions to business needs for Google's customers. Through consulting, technical solutions, and implementation, we help customers attain their business goals while building long-term capabilities. In addition to troubleshooting on the customer side, we work across gTech, Product, and Engineering teams to develop better tools and scalable services to improve our products based on the evolving needs of our users.

In this role, you will help shape the digital future of Google's publishers. You will join a team of technical thought leaders who seek to understand our publishers' business objectives and are committed to helping them achieve those goals through technical innovation and executional excellence. You will help clients incorporate technology into their strategy. You will provide consulting and client services.

Responsibilities

  • Become the trusted advisor of gTech to US stakeholders and publishers. Partner with industry managers to develop gTech's strategy and a corresponding suite of technical solutions
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities, and review agreements within the vertical. Develop Joint Technical Plans (JTPs) by partnering with publishers
  • Lead cross-functional business discussions that aid in the discovery of needs (e.g., gap analysis) and mapping of Customer Business Objectives (CBOs) to gTech solutions
  • Be accountable for the delivery of all project related work across approved projects by working closely with task owners to stay on schedule and on time
  • Oversee or collaborate on global, multi-product projects and support multi-product solutions for publishers, as well as oversee the scaling of custom publisher solutions
