Role Description: 

The Engagement Manager combines cybersecurity knowledge with core consulting skills to provide direct day-to-day leadership of service delivery teams including:

  • Development of approach and work plan for delivery of services per executed statements of work
  • Ownership of engagement timelines, client deliverables, and delivery activities
  • Establishment and maintenance of working relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Ownership of progress reporting and engagement status updates
  • Collection and synthesis of lessons learned from service delivery activities 

Key Skills:

  • Team leadership
  • Previous consulting experience
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Previous experience in a technical cybersecurity role (e.g., software developer, security analyst, security engineer, etc.)
  • Experience with proposal development and engagement economics
  • Executive “presence”
  • Candidates for Engagement Manager roles focused on incident response must have previous incident response experience, preferably related to delivery of services in coordination with insurance carriers and/or breach coaches

Our estimated base pay range for this role is $135,000-$185,000 per year. Base salary is determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to market data, location, internal equitability, domain knowledge, experiences and skills.
