Engagement Manager, Real World Evidence Client Engagement

Engagement Managers play a critical role in client management, project delivery, and team development. In this role you will contribute to the overall success of each engagement through project design, management and delivery. Your ability to understand client needs and design and execute on a project plan will be critical, as will your ability to direct senior consultants, consultants, and analysts. 

As an Engagement manager you will:

• Lead multiple engagements around the application of large longitudinal patient-level claims datasets to answer a diverse set of client business questions
• Work in partnership with clients, client-facing partners within Ambit, and Analytics colleagues to develop healthcare-claims-based analyses that address client business questions and objectives
• Manage process of developing analytical plans, and executing upon those plans
• Lead cross-functional teams
• Develop and deliver client-ready communications that demonstrate evidence-based solutions to client business questions
• Efficiently and independently undertake research to self-educate around health conditions, disease states, competitive markets, diagnostic procedures, epidemiology, analytical approaches and methodologies, etc. in order to effectively lead a diverse and evolving portfolio of healthcare-related projects

Qualifications:

• 5+ years work experience working with healthcare claims data sets; strong familiarity with healthcare coding-types (ICD, HCPCS, CPT, etc.)
• Advanced degree, preferred in a quantitative or scientific discipline, or data science
• Experience leading teams to the delivery of complex analytics
• Strong understanding of multiple health conditions / disease states (epidemiology, etiology, diagnostic procedures, treatment types)
• Proven project management skills
• Advanced proficiencies with MS office suite software: Excel, PPT, Word
• Understanding of coding concepts
• Understanding of database concepts
• Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills

Base Salary is $115,000-$160,000.
