DUTIES: Contribute to the "IPTV Health" team responsible for the development, testing, merge activity, and maintenance of the player/platform functionalities on Comcast Video Devices, including IPTV Performance Stability, Field Issues, Metrics, Escaped Regressions, Regression Testing, Automation Hardening & Negative Testing, Peacock (Health); provide release management support (cherry picking sprint to stable and release branches); triage field issues (including Peacock); run scrums for supporting engineers; develop and customize new and existing software and web applications; support applications under development, software updates, and roll-outs of software releases; research, write and edit documentation and technical requirements for software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents and current practices to create solutions for assigned projects; and work with release management and the Quality Assurance teams to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and (2) years of experience working with C/C++, Linux, RDK, DASH/HLS, and JavaScript.
