Job Description
Manifest Solutions is currently seeking an Engineer for a hybrid position in Columbus, OH.
- Manage engineering activities of multiple complex projects.
- Project types include solar and wind electric generating facilities, environmental retrofit to existing coal power plants. 3rd party Engineering firms and OEM will be responsible for the design.
- Responsible to manage all aspects of engineering activities.
- Will coordinate with other Engineering Sections within company to ensure proper engineering oversight.
- Coordinate the overall engineering activities between company, Developer, Architect Engineer (A/E), and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for Generation capital projects.
- Ensure production of engineering deliverables is completed on schedule.
- Ensure the design meets stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure technical issues and constraints are resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide engineering progress updates to the project team and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Has typically acquired 8 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET; or 6 years of related engineering experience along with a Master's or PhD in engineering from a program accredited by ABET.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico is required for this position unless approval to waive this requirement is given by the organization's EVP.
- Minimum 5 years experience overseeing multi-discipline engineering work
- Occasional Travel to generation facilities with some overnight travel will be required.
