Job Summary:

Provide support to environmental investigation and remediation projects, including all phases of planning, water and soil sampling, data analysis, preparing cost estimates, reporting, and subcontractor oversight and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental site assessment and remediation projects.
  • Prepare subcontractor scopes of work
  • Co-ordinate the schedules and activities of project sub-contractors.
  • Perform assessment activities while being mindful of the policies and procedures to protect worker health and safety.
  • Perform environmental soil and groundwater sampling in accordance with company, client, and industry standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive field notes.
  • Prepare draft work plans and remedial action completion reports for review by senior staff.
  • Prepare environmental site assessment reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Geology
  • 3+ years of environmental site assessment and remediation experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of state and federal environmental regulations and guidelines.
  • A strong desire to work as part of a team that is committed to protecting the health and safety of project participants.
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude and good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability and strong desire to work in the field and in the office.
  • Ability to wear proper PPE for work on hazardous waste sites; lifting up to 25lbs and physical work will be required.
  • Must be able to work in the field in all types of field conditions/weather.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
