Engineer I wanted by GBT US LLC in Scottsdale, AZ. Develop and implement data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data into an information product that help to inform the organization in reaching strategic goals; Work on ingesting, storing, processing, and analyzing large data sets; Translate complex technical and functional requirements into detailed designs; Investigate and analyze alternative solutions to data storing and processing to ensure most streamlined approaches are implemented; Serve as a mentor to junior staff by conducting technical training sessions and reviewing project outputs; Develop and maintain data pipelines implementing ETL processes; Take responsibility for Hadoop development and implementation; Work closely with a data science team implementing data analytic pipelines; Support production application and Incident management; Help define data governance policies and support data versioning processes; and Maintain security and data privacy working closely with Data Protection Officer internally.

Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. In lieu of Master's degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience, we will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security or a related field plus five (5) years of progressive experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have three (3) years of experience with Big Data, Hadoop, HDFS and Map Reduce; three (3) years of experience with Hive, SQL, Pig and Sqoop; two (2) years of experience with Python, PySpark, AWS, Spark and Java. May work from home located within commuting distance of office location. Salary Range: $156,312-$170,000.
