We are adding an Engineer I to support our Compressor Aftermarket program. This engineer will be working in a small Engineering group with a lot of interactions with Sales and Product Management. This role will receive exposure to many core Donaldson products.

Main Role Responsibilities

• Learn Donaldson Business Operating System, air compressors, and basic filtration
• Support Compressor Aftermarket program by identifying cross references, creating/checking product spec sheets
• Study ISO test standards, interpret results, and create test reports.
• Maintain progress report for accelerated product development (APDs) and change qualification process (CQPs), provide summary for Sales and Product Management
• Respond to technical inquiries from Sales and Customer Service teams.
• Support APDs and CQPs for US, Asia-Pacific, and Europe
• Become engineering support for smaller original equipment manufacturers
• Hands on work on ISO8573 testing in DVC/Compressor lab

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or science (mechanical preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office products
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision at times

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of air compressors
• 1-2 years' experience in a technical field
• Creative mindset with ability to problem solve and come up with concepts/ designs

Travel

• Minimal travel - up to 10% annually
