Engineer I, Automation - DeltaV, New Grads

Job Description

Horizon Controls Group are currently looking to recruit an Automation Engineer to join our team on an exciting client project in Maryland.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in the development of Process Control solutions for the Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology Industry
• Involved in the generation of Design Specifications for Process Control System
• Assist in the generation of Requirements Specification Documents
• Exposure to Process Control Solution prototyping
• Involved in the development of Graphical User Interfaces
• Receive an introduction to Pharmaceutical Batch control software
• Involved in the generation and execution of test documentation & protocols as part of a cross

  disciplined team

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or Applied Physics & Instrumentation or similar
• 6-12 months of Automation DeltaV experience; internships, co-ops, and employment are applicable experiences
• An interest in Process Control and Industrial Automation-DeltaV
• Desire to work within the Life Science Arena
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Nice to have but not required: Familiarity with regulated manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry
