Role Summary
The Engineer I - System Test is responsible for executing system level test cases on vehicle/Bench for ADAS products.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review system test cases for bench and vehicle level testing
  • Perform bench level tests, vehicle level test and create reports, create defects and review them with the System Test Manager
  • Perform Data Analysis on the test execution output files to generate plots, charts, reports, spreadsheets, presentations etc
  • Develop and provide vehicle test infrastructure user instruction manual and training, as required, to the crossfunctional team

Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent skills. Master's degree preferred.
  • Level I: 0-2 years experience regarding Responsibility / Main Activities (listed above) in serial development or comparable experience in automotive (mandatory); electronic (preferable) industry
  • Level I: Advanced
    • Working knowledge of automtive engineering product development life cycle
    • Working knowledge of system test process (SYS.4/SYS.5) part of product life cycle
    • Working knowledge of DMM, Oscilloscope, Video Scope etc.
    • ADAS product system test experience desired (Black box testing)
    • Experience with system test management tools
    • Working knowledge of ISO/IEC standards
    • Working knowledge of HIL procedures and equipment
    • Working knowledge of Vector tools like CANoe, CANAnalyzer
    • Working knowledge in planned and structured approach
    • Working knowledge of problem solving techniques
    • Troubleshooting and debugging skills
    • Knowledge of structured problem solving (8D) methods and/or techniques
    • Working knowledge of configuration management, and project monitoring and control techniques (preferably PTC/MKS)

Additional Information
  • Computer Skills
    • Matlab/Simulink, dSpace, Labview, model based development tools
    • Working knowledge of CAN and LIN based tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, neoVI and other automotive networks and related tools
    • Working knowledge of CAPL or Python programming
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office package
