Position Summary

Perform the duties of a subject matter expert for one or more Samsung 5G RAN, Platform or Orchestration network functions

Role and Responsibilities

Perform the duties of a subject matter expert for one or more Samsung 5G RAN, Platform or Orchestration network functions. Complement pre-sales efforts by presenting highly technical deep dives of the Samsung product solutions. Assist in requirements compliance for RFP. Perform production issue problem troubleshooting, resolution and documentation of root-cause analyses. Interface proactively with Product/Technology Engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Present feature descriptions and low-level design summaries to the customer and Create and implement test plans. Interface with 3rd party partners and vendors as needed. Mentor/train new employees.

Skills and Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience in electronics engineering. Experience must include: virtualization technologies, including virtual machines and containers and cloud-native concepts; working in a Linux environment, including scripting and command-line; using command-line tools and scripting tools shell and Python; networking concepts including TCP/IP, sockets, IPv4/6, routing and interface snooping; and software engineering concepts including message queues, multi-threading, algorithms, interfaces, inter-process communication, security, and relational databases. 10% domestic travel required.
