Key Responsibilities:

As an Engineer II, Field Service at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to our world-class customer experience by providing exceptional lab instrument services. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Installation, basic training, preventative maintenance, repair, and compliance services for lab instruments
• Collaborating closely with other departments to improve the overall customer experience and ensure seamless integration of services
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers in your assigned territory
• Assisting service sales to win more service orders and contribute to our ambitious growth targets
• Actively contributing to projects that aim to improve work quality and efficiency

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Life Science, Bioengineering, Machinery, Electronics, Chemistry, or Pharmacy
• Minimum of 3 years' confirmed experience in field service
• Excellent communication skills, both internally and with customers
• Strong team spirit and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
