Key Responsibilities:
As an Engineer II, Field Service at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to our world-class customer experience by providing exceptional lab instrument services. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Installation, basic training, preventative maintenance, repair, and compliance services for lab instruments
- Collaborating closely with other departments to improve the overall customer experience and ensure seamless integration of services
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers in your assigned territory
- Assisting service sales to win more service orders and contribute to our ambitious growth targets
- Actively contributing to projects that aim to improve work quality and efficiency
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Life Science, Bioengineering, Machinery, Electronics, Chemistry, or Pharmacy
- Minimum of 3 years' confirmed experience in field service
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and with customers
- Strong team spirit and ability to work under pressure
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
