Donaldson's Power Generation business unit is seeking an Engineer II - Project Engineer for our Engineering team. In this role you will Project Engineer new system designs through our engineering and CAD teams and support new product for air inlet systems for the gas turbine market.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support kick-offs of new projects through our engineering and CAD team
• Develop and maintain products through knowledge and application of engineering and filtration principles.
• Implement value added solutions such as new technologies, cost reductions and quality improvements.
• Perform engineering calculations, investigations, and assigned tasks.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing partners at our plants, suppliers, and CAD designers.
• Utilize Computer Aided Engineering systems to help evaluate designs.
• Ensure compliance with government and organization engineering standards.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Product Management, Applications Engineering, Field Service, Marketing, and Manufacturing.
• Prepare and present technical results and information in a clear and concise manner through drawings, specifications, reports, and oral presentations.
• Support field assembly/commissioning as needed through conference calls or site visits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years related professional work experience.
• Experience with CAD, Teamcenter, NX, and AutoCAD
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to manage all engineering activities and ensure delivery timelines.
• Manage engineering communications with customer.
• Manage engineering timelines and schedules and provide reoccurring updates to team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with fabricated metal products, manufacturing processes and the downstream impacts of design decisions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with broad audience: Sales, product management, other engineering teams, CAD design, quality, manufacturing plant personnel

Travel:

• Less than 10% annually, US and Mexico.
