Job Description:

• Work closely with the supply chain planning team to understand the data setup, ETL logic, and supply chain planning engine logic.
• Work with the business users/systems analyst to understand new data. integration/supply chain planning logic requirements.
• Work with Data Engineering team to build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines. for data processing and integration using a modern data stack.
• Develop and maintain integration processes using Apache Airflow and Python to ensure seamless data flow and data quality.
• Assist in the development of graph based data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and ensure data pipeline reliability.
• Deep analysis to find root cause for complex issues.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• A minimum of 3-5 years of software development experience
• 2-3 years of experience working with ETL tools
• Experience in Database design and development (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL Server)
• An understanding of semiconductor manufacturing
• An understanding of supply chain planning systems
• An understanding of graph databases or a strong willingness to learn (e.g., Neo4j)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for working with data and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working with supply chain planning software
• Experience working with semiconductor manufacturing software
• Apache Airflow development experience
• Knowledge of cloud-based data organization and computation resources (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka)
• Knowledge of data science concepts (e.g., ML, AI)

Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in California, is $70,000 - $163,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
