Your Role:
As a successful candidate for Senior Industrial Engineer at FF Hanford facility you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the automotive industry, a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles, and a passion for driving operational excellence:
- Design and implement manufacturing processes that optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement in cost, quality, and throughput.
- Develop and implement new production technologies and processes that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production processes meet product specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead process improvement projects and use analytical tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain standard work instructions, process flows, and other documentation to ensure consistent production practices.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices, new processes, and equipment operation.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Partner with suppliers and vendors to ensure materials and equipment meet production requirements and specifications.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial engineering with a focus on automotive welding and joining technologies
- Extensive knowledge on Industrial engineering principles and methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and production processes, including machining, assembly, and automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CAD software, statistical analysis tools, and project management software
- Strong familiarity with principles of automotive body processes, optimization, launch of new products
- Solid knowledge in automated and manual technologies

- Proven track record of leading process improvement projects and delivering measurable results.

Annual Salary Range:
($100K - $130K), plus benefits and incentive plans
