How will you make an impact in this role?

We are looking for energetic, hard-working and highly skilled Engineers to help shape our technology and product roadmap. You will be part of the fast-paced, entrepreneurial Enterprise Customer Intelligence portfolio focused on delivering the next generation global Personalization capabilities using cutting edge technologies.

Responsibilities includes:

• Owns the development and testing aspect of the software development for assigned applications.
• Functions as a member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development and test practices with respect to tools, common components, and documentation.
• Primary focus (80%+) is spent writing code, unit testing, test automation, quality assurance & doing automation testing in ongoing sprints.
• Review requirements specification for development, defects, performance, reliability, scalability and set up and maintain the environment.
• Responsible for performing code reviews, quality checks, implementing automated testing to gain efficiencies. Implementing proof of concepts and new technologies to progress the efficiencies of the technical landscape.
• Develops deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains
• Performs ongoing refactoring of code, quality assurance and testing, applying best practice methodologies and processes.
• Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies & ideas in development / test area.
• Provides continuous support for ongoing application availability
• Collaborate/influence within and across teams to create successes with an innovative mindset to challenge the status quo.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or higher degree (or its equivalent) in computer science, Computer engineering, Electronics Engineering or a directly related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience with proven hands-on experience in Big Data technologies
• Prior experience in Personalization domain will be a big plus.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java/Python
• Experience working on any Hadoop distribution, such as Mapr, Cloudera, Hortonworks and have at least coded in Hive, Pig, Java M/R, Spark for 2 years or more, will be an added advantage.
• Solid understanding of data structures, Algorithms & Design Patters will be an added advantage
• Strong experience with UNIX / Shell / Perl / Python scripting
• Understanding of different Algorithms & Machine Learning techniques (Neural Network, Deep Learning, Supervised & Unsupervised, Regression, Classification) and their application in batch/real-time will be an added advantage
• Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods
• Experience in Cloud technologies (Dockerization, etc) , will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent team-player with ability to work with global teams

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
