Responsibilities:

• Testing, maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, installing and upgrading the hardware and software infrastructure on operational systems critical in airplane approaches to airport landings and enroute navigations
• Researching, designing and developing hardware and software systems, enhancements, modifications and configurations to existing systems and networks
• Providing required inputs for development of hardware and software system manuals, guidelines and documentation where commercially developed documents are unavailable
• Providing engineering review of Navigation and Landing Systems software and hardware design data to ensure compliance with FAA performance criteria

Requirements

• Hardware skill in both analog and digital circuit analysis and design required
• Programming skills in C/C++ for embedded microprocessor systems desired

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline (Electrical/Electronic preferred); ABET is required (accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology)
• Ten (10) plus years of engineering experience
• Strong analytical skills, proven problem solving ability while being self-motivated in our team environment
• Experience developing creative solutions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to pass an FAA background investigation (US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required)
