Engineer Level III (Supply Chain Management)

Our Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert is located at Robins AFB, GA. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will work with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals. Act as a mentor to less experienced personnel in the performance of Supply Chain related tasks, independent of Air Force Support. Interface with higher HQs, AFLCMC, and AFSC in the resolution of inquiries, policy development, preparation and presentation of briefings, and preparation and support of compliance inspections. Negotiate critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and other organizations. Perform advisory and consulting work for the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years related experience
• Extensive experience in studies and analysis in specified field, understanding of emerging and advanced trends in said field.
• Understanding of OSS&E policy and procedures related to 448 SCMW supported systems, subcomponents, and NSNs.
• Ability to effectively handle task specific questions and engage in advanced problem solving.
• Familiarity with Defense Working Capital Fund, Consolidated Sustainment Activity Group (CSAG) policy and processes related to the budgeting and the execution of engineering projects.
• Experience using DLA Form 339 and AFTO Form 202 when addressing problems and questions related to policy and processes for engineering dispositions.
• Experience with market research and procurement processes utilized in the acquisition and repair of replacement spare parts.
• Experience with the processes, policy, and practices used in the creation and management of engineering technical data and Technical Order content.
• Experience with senior supply management
• In-depth knowledge of the key technical areas and the support of those areas
• Secret Security Clearance
