Aptiv Connection Systems, Chennai Engineering Center in Chennai, India established in 2001 catering complete product development solutions right from concept design till validation testing to global OEMs. Located in Chennai city, the southern part of India which is known as automotive hub of India.

Responsibilities and duties

• Support metal/cable material sourcing and test
• Define metal/cable material property to meet product performance requirement
• Create metal/cable material spec, and get it approved
• Investigate cost down and implement metal/cable material change
• Support physical contact analysis on connection system
• Assure adherence to all DCS work standards
• Progressively participate in teamwork as required
• Strive for lean organization and continuous improvement

Qualifications / Requirements

• Metal material engineering Bachelor degree or above
• Metal/cable material engineering experience is must
• Material research experience is plus
• Physical contact analysis experience is preferred
• Interpersonal skills to relate effectively with both internal and external personnel.
• 3 to 5 years of related working experience.
