Principal Job Responsibilities:

May perform some or all of the following: Interface as contributor with project manager and various teams as product moves from design to completion, release, and high-volume production. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to guide or support a product from design to release and attend product and design review meetings. Collaborate with Test Engineering to insure the successful completion of final test, correlation, characterization, qualification, limit setting, yield analysis, release to manufacturing, and post release sustaining and cost reduction effort. Perform functional and performance test debug, create or revise innovative automated test software and hardware, evaluate, characterize and analyze ICs across all operating conditions, document and present findings, release products to production, and support released product. Format, statistically analyze, and reach valid conclusions from collected data and present process/product improvement recommendations and document and present findings. Use precision measurement equipment and apply (1) suggested measurement techniques and, (2) tools required to establish different RF, analog, power, and/or digital performance metrics.

Qualifications

Master's degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related discipline OR, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in same disciplines as above (with an IC electronics focus) plus 1 year of (industry, academic, and/or research) experience gained at any time. In addition to degree, must have the following (gained at any time): circuits knowledge to include one or more of the following: analog circuits, RF circuits, Power Management, signals and systems, ADCs, DACs, optical, high speed serial interfaces, microcontrollers, DSPs; capability to perform circuit evaluation using bench test equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators; working knowledge of a high-level programming language or one of the following: LabVIEW, Python, Visual BASIC, HTML; ability to solve complex problems through design of appropriate experiments and analysis of complex data; strong organizational and analytical skills; strong time management and multi-tasking skills; and solid oral, written, and presentation communication skills to efficiently communicate across a global organization where success is highly dependent on collaboration and effective internal/external communication. May work from home 2 days per week.

Compensation: $126,464 to $131,500 per year (depending on qualifications).
