Engineer - Renewable Wind Testing

JOB DESCRIPTION
UL Solutions in its Renewable Wind Testing service line carries out wind turbine testing and monitoring as a fundamental step towards new turbines certification and existing models performance upgrading.
By means of sensors installation on the different components of the wind turbine, UL monitors, tests and analyzes mechanical loads and vibrations for wind turbine model verification.
We are looking for an Engineer - Renewable Wind Testing for our location in Ansoain (Pamplona area) .
RESPONSIBILITIES
UL is seeking for an Engineer that under general supervision will be in charge of the:

• Definition, timely preparation and on-budget execution of wind turbine monitoring projects according to client's request (project management)
• Definition of project specific testing equipment (sensors, signal processing, data acquisition systems, communication protocols)
• Process databases and develop scripts for processes automation
• Assess monitoring data and analyze wind turbine mechanical loads and vibration levels
• Reporting of wind turbine mechanical loads monitoring results
• Integration of continuous improvement concepts and techniques

QUALIFICATIONS

• University Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an accredited program.
• No experience required.
