Engineer Senior / Engineer Principal - Program Cloud Architect/Infrastructure Engineer
Cloud Architect/Infrastructure Engineer to administer and develop program cloud platform. This position will be leading the architecture for systems supporting such functions as software development, mission data processing, and system integration and test. The ideal candidate will have a detailed knowledge of system administration, cloud technologies, software development processes, infrastructure deployment/management technologies, information assurance, and CI/CD pipelines.
What You'll Do:

• Participate in an integrated development team to execute program infrastructures.
• System Provisioning and Design.
• Cloud infrastructure automation.
• System infrastructure automation.
• Cloud administration.
• DevOps administration.
• Work with the following software development lifecycle concepts: DevOps, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD).
• Setup, maintain, secure, and configure servers in both cloud and bare metal.
• Assist in software development and testing as necessary.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

What You'll Need:

• Engineer Senior - BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 8 or more years related experience.
• Engineer Principal - BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 12 or more years related experience.
• Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
• A current, active TS/SCI CI Polygraph security clearance is required.
• Primary focus on Linux, with some minor experience in Windows.
• Experience in system security and hardening preferred.
• Experience with CM controls

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel a​nd local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• HIRING SALARY RANGE FOR ENGINEER SENIOR: $133,500 - $168,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
• HIRING SALARY RANGE FOR ENGINEER PRINCIPAL: $150,000 - $189,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
