Description

We are looking for a talented Engineer - Simulation Based Product Development to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Components Business Segment in Minneapolis MN / Hybrid to your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Will come into Cummins and join a new team within the Electronics, Simulation Based Product Development
• Aide in the working with both hardware & software for product development with simulations to cut development time
• Present to internal customers with simulation-based solutions and designs
• Work to use simulation-based designs to help to eliminate obsolescence in Cummins products
• Will work to test and validate different models, scripts, or simulations
• Must love working on complex and multi-layered projects and problems

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Must have a College or University degree in Engineering, or related field
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in this field or similar role is preferred
• Must be proficient in at least one programming language, preferable C
• Ideal candidate would have some scripting language experience, preferably Python

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
