About the position:

We're looking for an Engineering Analyst to join our team. You will:

• Extract, transform, and load large datasets.
• Analyze data to arrive at actionable insights.
• Leverage Matlab or Python scripting languages to complete assignments effectively and efficiently.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and other technical documentation.
• Utilize CAD tools to modify geometric models in preparation for analysis work.
• Perform routine mechanical engineering calculations using textbook formulas.
• Perform structural finite element analyses. A typical analysis requires basic knowledge of:


• Finite element meshing techniques and element types
• Material properties and material models
• Finite element loading and boundary conditions
• Finite element solvers and solver settings


• Interpret and document analysis results.
• Verify and validate simulation models and results.
• Collaborate with other Engineering Analysts to define best practices.

About you:

• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Self-motivated: Able to work independently and in teams toward near-term and long-term objectives.
• Inquisitive: Has the mindset to ask the right questions and to design and execute scientific experiments to prove a hypothesis.
• Data-driven: Has the ability to interpret data and arrive at actionable insights.
• A fast learner: Demonstrates a solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals with the ability to quickly grasp new technical areas when needed.
• A team player: Possesses strong interpersonal skills, has experience building relationships, and the ability to facilitate active collaboration.
• Flexible, adaptable, and eager to deliver timely results despite unanticipated challenges.
• Must have the ability to plan, organize, and carry out technical activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to present technical material to technically diverse audiences
