Primary Responsibilities

In the Engineering BIM Intern role, you will:

  • Gain real-world experience on exciting commercial and industrial building projects by applying standard engineering techniques and knowledge of BIM software such as Revit.
  • Work under the guidance and direct supervision of a senior level BIM Designer to assist in the development of construction documents utilizing BIM software such as Revit.
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
  • Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program or closely related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter with excellent writing, comprehension, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Revit, Civil 3D, or other Autodesk products
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • For Bachelor's Degree students, prefer 2+ years completed towards degree with 3.0+ GPA.
  • For Associate Degree students, prefer 1 year completed towards degree with 3.0+ GPA.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry.
  • Preference given to local candidates.
