Job Description
The Engineering Change Manager will be leading the execution of the Systems and Solutions Business (SSB) requirements for the implementation of business supporting tools & data. This person will be the single point of contact to drive end to end maturity and will provide the knowledge and expertise for multiple tools & data for SSB.
Essential Functions:
- Drive consistency and quality of the business/customer experience across all digital channels and touch points
- Define and implement, in conjunction with the transformation portfolio leadership and digital tools & IT teams
- Lead the end to end business process development and optimization team to support business/customer experience priorities
- Collaborate with many internal/external stakeholders globally to align processes and systems required to support
- Be responsible for scoping and delivering end-to-end solutions requirements
- Engaging in the overall PI Plan and scope of the initiative
- Provide program management support to Product Management or service team in launching new products within the digital tools landscape and maintain and execute detailed operations-readiness plans accordingly.
- Testing and the detailed execution plan and execute on the set strategy and detailed plan.
- Work with key stakeholders across multiple functions to align to the enterprise wide initiatives
- Collaborate with Business Systems & Data Program Managers, other product owners, software development teams, hardware development teams, and global process owners.
- Lead change management efforts
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant work experience in program management, process improvement and/or digital/high-technology companies/products
- Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
- Manage or actively participated in major projects for over a 3-5 year cycle
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, communicate with colleagues in both business and technical roles and develop process that drives scale.
- Experience leveraging technology to invent, improve, and scale.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload.
- Ability to handle the day-to-day management of tasks, prioritization and resolution of problems and issues and experience in implementing action plans to meet objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.
- Self-starter and possesses flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations.
- Experience managing the overall delivery through the aligned team
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent conflict resolution and people interface skills
- Further education in business administration, operations or project management.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to distill information from disparate data sources and the capability to tell the story behind it, as well as recommendations for next steps.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
- Seek out and embrace relevant perspectives when assessing a situation or deciding; demonstrate clear understanding of multiple viewpoints.
