About Network Infrastructure

Network Infrastructure, includes IP Routing, Optical Networks and Fixed Networks, as well as Alcatel Submarine Networks business, currently reported under "Group Common." This business group will respond to the ever-increasing demand for higher capacity, greater reliability, faster speeds and lower costs.

Job Position Description:

This position is a cross-functional role, you will be part of the NI Hardware Program Office.

Qualifications

Thorough understanding of change management and configuration management practices and Configuration Control rules and their implementation

Ability to work required overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers

Responsibilities

Engineering Change Order (ECO) Analyst is a Change Order (ECR/ECO) specialist responsible for engineering change control process as part of product lifecycle management (PLM)

Beyond generating and processing Engineering Change Orders, duties will include data mining, point of contact (POC) for change related escalations, managing trackers, interdepartmental reports, and continuous improvement process (CIP) activities in a high pace environment

Generates and manages Engineering Change Orders through to closure

Performs documentation research for all parts/assemblies to be included in the Engineering Change Order to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to change control policies/procedures and design drafting standards

Makes decisions, provides recommendations and/or escalates based on the needs of the situation

Supports New Product Introduction (NPI) Program Managers on a daily basis for Engineering Change Order activities

Interfaces with Engineers and Customers on design solutions to implement into bills of materials (BOMs) that align with lean manufacturing requirements

Responsible to align key collaborators to drive to solutions in alignment with cut-in strategies, excess and obsolete (E&O) materials and effectivities

Monitor and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and timely change cut in

Process part numbers, bills of material and change orders which include preparation for change control board, review for clarity, errors and proper approval routing, accuracy and completeness

Track documents from initiation to final approval

Track and report on document review progress

Develop, track and report key metrics

Perform all other duties, as assigned

5+ years of project-related experience in NPI supply chain management.

• Proficient with MS Office tools, especially Excel/Access. Experience with SQL would be an asset.

In-depth knowledge of SMA methods, hardware assembly, and factory test processes

• Previous experience with the Agile PDM, ENOVIA, GPMA, SAP, and SRM tools.

• In-depth knowledge of the Nokia Create Process and Enovia data structures are an asset.

• Working knowledge of electronics hardware design concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Excellent organization skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently to achieve individual and group goals.

• Proven ability to perform under pressure and deliver success.

• Knowledge of the Nokia ION product line is an asset.
