Job Description

Specific Projects:

  • Redesign of metal and electrical components for cost-down development of battery powered AC system.

    • Research different components, materials and methods for potential cost savings
    • Create test plans for testing different components and pull together cross-functional teams for risk analysis reviews
  • Development of new soft-good products for consumer marketplace using flexible heater technology.

    • Support concept and drawing creation of different development projects, work with cross functional teams to build mfg feasibility and cost analysis of potential solutions.
  • Opportunity for project management experience as desired

Special Skills:

SolidWorks, Finite Element Analysis, lab experience preferred

Qualifications:

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Working knowledge of electrical schematics and DC power electronics
  • Working knowledge of Refrigeration cycle, HVAC components and heat transfer calculations
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program
  • Majors: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
