Join Celonis as an Engineering Intern and become part of a world-class engineering team building the future of process intelligence. Over the course of your internship you’ll work hands-on within one or more engineering teams contributing to real product features on a modern cloud-based tech stack. You’ll be supported by an experienced mentor and work alongside engineers who are passionate about innovation collaboration and impact. This is a chance to apply your technical skills to meaningful challenges grow fast and get a real taste of what a career in enterprise software engineering looks like.
What You’ll Do- Collaborate with your engineering team on the design development and testing of features in Celonis’s cloud product.
- Write clean well-structured code using our modern tech stack which includes Angular Spring Boot C++17 and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to real product work — not toy projects — with ownership of specific features or components.
- Work closely with senior engineers and your mentor to grow your technical skills and broaden your understanding of large-scale software systems.
- Participate in code reviews standups and team rituals to get a full picture of how high-performing engineering teams operate.
- Explore and contribute to open-source code and projects where applicable.
- Bring curiosity and fresh perspective to the table — your ideas are welcome here.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least one completed internship or relevant project experience demonstrating hands-on coding skills.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java Python TypeScript C++).
- Familiarity with software development fundamentals: data structures algorithms and object-oriented design.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- A collaborative team-first mindset with the initiative to take ownership and follow through.
Bonus Points:
- GPA of 3.6 or higher.
- Experience with cloud-native or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Angular Spring Boot or Kubernetes.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Interest in process mining data analytics or enterprise software.
