Engineering Intern - Internal Website

As an intern working on CORE, the internal web site that manages many of our company's support, regulatory, engineering, and other processes, you'll be connecting with users all over the company and making changes to improve their quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Be a fullstack developer responsible for changing HTML/CSS/JavaScript code, Ruby on Rails server code, and backend database configurations
• Write documentation
• Test code and write automated tests
• Work closely with experienced software engineers, including a personal mentor
• Learn about software engineering principles in an industry environment
• Work on real features with a real world impact on the people you work with

What You'll Need

• Some experience writing code in coursework, projects, or previous internships
• An active pursuit of a bachelor's degree, preferably for computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or physics 
• General problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical thinking
• Interest in business logic
• Communication and organization skills
